Quilt Therapy Recommended
When James started chemo I took some needlework projects with me. It helped with sitting and waiting. I have always needed something to occupy my hands, calming.
Then I made a quilt from a bag of strips that I had bought from Etsy. It's about the size of a twin, not as long. I didn't go by any kind of pattern or measure. I thought I had used up all of the strips but of course I found more later. I used some flannel scraps for the batting and flour sacks for the lining. My first quilt in 35 years.
