Christmas 2024

I should be cleaning house but am doing anything else but. 

Christmas was quiet. Tisha cooked up a storm. She and James bought a ham and some chicken. I let her fix the whole meal, she loves to cook and does it well.

I did bake a prune cake from the Rich family cook book. It was fabulous. It tasted like a rasin spice cake. I didn't ice it, didn't have powdered sugar and wasn't in the mood to make any. But the cake was great without icing, really.

James' grandson John was the only visitor we had. The dogs attacked him twice. They're bullies. 

Moving is slowly moving forward. We finally got rid of unwanted things from the shed, more to follow from the attic. Moving the bus has proven to be a bigger job than anticipated, it won't  start. 

James is off work until the 15th, worker's comp for a broken thumb. It's  good to have him home.
