Pears

These are the last few pears of the season. I'm going to have to fight the dogs for these because I have to wait for them to fall. The dogs love pears. There are half eaten pears everywhere. Most of the time they eat a whole pear at one sitting but they leave stragglers that they eventually finish. 

Pears sauteed in butter and cinnamon are excellent with white grits.
