Well

I thought chickens were supposed to slow down their egg production in the fall when the weather cools. Or it least I thought I read that somewhere. I do have 22 chickens though. I only wanted half that many but I love them all. James says I feed them too well, haha.

These are the eggs that I collected on Saturday. I collected 22 more this morning which I boiled. Then cooked up about two dozen more that I already had sitting around, fed them to the dogs, and baked the shells to use in the garden. And I probably have two dozen more from a week or two ago that I need to cook. My neighbor says she cooks her eggs and feeds them back to her chickens. I guess it's good for them.
